Intertwined (2021) was a project that started during Covid and delves into Anastacias experiences on not conforming to ideals of touch, but after a year of social distancing even she needed a hug after experiencing feelings of being touch starved.
Through melancholic gazes and intricate poses she conveys the push and pull longing for touch creates.
